Geoffrey Cameron is currently Principal Researcher with the Baha'i Community of Canada's Office of External Affairs. He is also a research associate with the Oxford Martin School, University of Oxford. Previously, he worked as senior policy advisor to the head of the Africa Bureau at Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Geoffrey has also been a college lecturer in Politics at St Catherine's College, Oxford, and a research associate at the London-based Foreign Policy Centre. He has written and published on international migration, international development practice, African politics, freedom of religion, and human rights in Iran.

Geoffrey graduated with a BA (Hons) in International Development Studies from Trent University, and as a Commonwealth Scholar he completed an MPhil in Politics at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford. He lives in Ottawa with his wife, Lita, and daughter, Clara.
